F1 in schools is a globally organized competition established to encourage high school students to broaden their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) in order to design an optimal F1 vehicle prototype. This competition introduces students yo S.T.E.A.M. related fields. Every summer 20 million students from 40 different nations participate in this challenge, encouraging them to further their education on these subjects in a fun, exciting, and challenging competition.
All of the F1 team members work diligently for months, perfecting the cars through the use of both wind tunnels and virtual simulators to improve upon the car's aerodynamics. Once all revisions are made, the final car, that can reach speeds of 40 miles per hour, will be raced on a 20 meter track.
